The Leather
Our U.S.-sourced oil tanned leather is incredibly easy to care for. With time and use, the natural oils in the leather will rise to the surface, developing a beautiful patina and smoothing any scuffs or scratches that may have accumulated. Learn more about caring for your new leather product.
Our full-grain leather is the strongest and most durable available, and the unique texture and natural imperfections from the cow’s life have not been sanded, cut or shaved off. Full-grain is SIX times stronger than Buffed, Upholstery or Genuine leather.
Please note that our pebbled leather, like all of our leather, is a natural product. You may notice changes in grain or texture throughout your bag. Other companies artificially press a pebble texture into their leather. However, the pebbling of our leather is achieved naturally through an extra tumbling process which leaves some areas of the hide smoother than others.

The Almost Perfect Margot and Jacaranda are Absolutely Perfect!
I have found the medium crossbody to be the best handbag ever. The new Margot is beautiful. I even consigned my Dooney and Bourke ostrich hot pick in favor of PLC.
“Almost perfect” but I can’t find a flaw in this bag. It’s gorgeous, very high quality leather, and well made. The blue is deep and beautiful - richer than a navy, darker than a cobalt blue. The size is perfect. Roomy enough for everything I need without being too big. I love it - no doubt this classic piece will be in use for years to come
I had missed out getting a pebbled Hibiscus medium crossbody and told customer service a hot pink/rose would sell out. Voila, the new Margot. I was lucky to get a zippered one and she arrived today. Not my favorite pebble leather but a super plush baby bum-like leather. I also ordered and received today the beautiful periwinkle like Jacaranda. Couldn't get a zippered one and since I was checking daily never saw zipper maybe PLC didn't make that color zippered.
