Why do you use leather with prominent character marks in the first place?
We only qualify Almost Perfect in terms of cosmetic irregularities that have absolutely no impact on the quality or durability of our products. Rather, we figured that it'd be a shame to waste such beautiful and functional leather, so we decided to sell it at a discounted price.
What type of imperfection will I get with this bag?
Each of our Almost Perfect bags is one of a kind! While we can't say for sure which one you'll receive, some common character marks our customers find are pebbling and color variation, scars and striations, or a stitch out of place. That being said, rest assured that none of these "imperfections" will impact the functionality of the bag in any way!

This backpack is the absolute perfect size to carry, and the inside has tons of room! This is by far my favorite PLG BP so far!
This is a very roomy backpack. I can fit a book as well as my small canvas organizer. I do wish the straps were a little more adjustable. It hangs down pretty low when I use both straps. But I’m only 5’2”, so for someone taller it may be fine!
I really love this backpack! I was hesitant after reading some of the first reviews but am glad I went ahead and purchased it. Yes, it does sit lower than I usually carry a backpack but it is comfortable there ( I am 5') I shortened the straps to the last hole available and crisscrossed the straps. By doing this an unexpected benefit was that the bag will hang easily from my shoulder when accessing the inside so I don't have to set it down. If you are hesitant, just try it, I think you'll live it too.
Love my new bag! It is the loveliest shade of metallic blue! I am a disabled Marine and have an innate desire for all things patriotic. This scratches my itch for a blue bag in backpack style. It smells heavenly. It is SO pretty!
Love, love, love the Rue! Bought one for a Christmas gift and knew I needed one as well. Got mine in Coldbrew. And I purchased AP. The leather is amazing and the backpack is perfection! Holds everything I typically carry and I love the double opening - I don’t have to searching thru the bag because the opening is so wide. This is a great addition to my backpack collection!
