The August Tote is fantastic! Large enough for my laptop, notebook book, reading material, water bottle, and everything else I lug around for work. I am so glad I went with the large. It’s beautiful and fits everything! I’m a hairdresser and I throw in my shoes, lunch, water bottle and more.its so much better than having multiple canvas totes now I just need only this one and I feel cute! The August does not disappoint! I pack a planner, large laptop, pencil pouch and a 40oz water bottle w room to spare. My Koala will fit too! The straps are comfy and a good length. I also really like the pebbled coldbrew. It looks good and is flexible. This is my new favorite tote!

A love letter to the August (and a eulogy for chunky pebbles)

If you are 5’1” and wondering if you should wait for the Large August to restock: don't. Take it from an impatient shopper who pulled the trigger on the Medium. It is perfection. It gives "sleek, minimalist chic" rather than "I am moving out of my house." The clean lines with no front pocket are absolutely stunning. But we need to talk about the Nutmeg elephant in the room. PLG, what happened to my favorite leather? The color is darker, the bag weight is lighter, and it scratches if a gentle breeze hits it. Constantly rubbing out scratches has become my new, un-voted-for workout routine. But worst of all? The texture. I fell in love with the old Nutmeg because of those glorious, unique chunky pebbles. This new version has uniform, consistent pebbles look that feels a little too unnatural for my taste. That being said... I'm completely obsessed with the shape. It’s going straight into my regular bag rotation, and I will absolutely be buying more. Just... let's pour one out for the chunky pebbles of yesteryear.

This is a nice thin bag but sturdy enough for work or school.
I love this bag, the strap feels great on your shoulder when carrying it. The leather feels good. I chose the color green because it’s one that I do not have in any other bag. I have received several compliments on it as well.
Love the medium August in Mango. The more structured leather looks great with the style. I like the size, because it’s bigger than my normal shoulder bags, but not as big as my other totes. Perfect in between. Can carry my laptop for work plus my normal daily carry stuff. Mango is a beautiful color. Leans yellow obviously, but with a still very neutral vibe. Neutrals are NOT my thing, so I enjoy this pop of color that still goes with a lot.
My first Unicorn! Such a beautiful color. The size is perfect for day to day. I really like the key loop. Idk if that’s what it’s called, but all bags should have one.
