I absolutely love the E/W Lola! It is my go-to bag for work and conferences. It holds all my notebooks, wallet, and my planner and utility pouch with my special pens. Storm is my first love, but I anticipate getting others in different colors to match my mood. I’m 5’4” with a longer torso, so the E/W orientation works best for me as a shoulder carry. If this is a bag you’re thinking about, run, don’t walk!

Gift for my daughter and this is what she has to say: I have been looking for a new tote for school and work and this was perfect! I initially questioned if the size would be too large because I am short, but it was perfect! I can fit a laptop and iPad in it with a notebook or two. The inside pouch also comes in handy for small items like lip gloss and gum. Honey is the perfect versatile color, and it is gorgeous in person! I would highly recommend the large Lola if you’re needing a good tote!

At first I was a wee bit skeptical of buying this tote, but when it arrived I loved the color and was so glad I bought a matching wallet. It doesn’t have a lot of compartments to put things in like my old handbags but I purchased a taco tassel pouch to put a few odds and ends in. All together I’ve learned to love it. I ordered two more totes in different colors and had to return one because it looked like it was from the “All most perfect collection”! I really liked the honey color because I’d already purchased a honey colored wallet in my previous order. I’m still upset about the transaction. The bag was very discolored with a scratch on the bottom. I decided to do a gift card. I hope I made the right decision so that when I decide to order again something like this will not be shipped to me because I didn’t purchase an all most perfect item. However, the other totes are great!

Love, love, love my large Lola in Grizzly! She smells amazing! I use her for my work (I’m a notary public and a document preparer). It fits lots of my stuff: letter sized journal, stamps (many of them), stationaries and personal items and a thick 8” wallet! I constantly get compliments on my bag! I like the size and style of this bag. It gives the pebbled leathers nice structure. The shoulder straps are a little awkward. This is a nice variation, but overall my FSCB is still my favorite and more comfortable to carry as a shoulder bag.

I recently purchased an East/West Lola in pine, and she is as lovely as I'd hoped. The leather is beautiful, as PLG has proven to be, and the color is rich. I'm excited to carry it this fall, but I think the color will transition beautifully into all the other seasons as well. I also purchased a cinnamon maple keychain and they look lovely together. Purchased the large zippered Lola in Cognac for my daughter. She wanted a professional tote to carry her wristlet wallet, water bottle, small lunch bag, small essentials pouch, iPad mini, and light sweater. I also added a matching tassel for a little flair. This velvet blue bag is absolutely stunning. Add the wide PLG strap and its perfect for a small laptop an all your workday necessitates. This is my 20th PLG bag but only my 3rd tote and I wish id bought it sooner.
I was initially disappointed in the Asheville color because I thought it would be more brown than red, so I thought I mistakenly received Nutmeg. However, I looked at comparisons on PLG Insiders and can see the true difference in those two colors. I really enjoy this bag now as a work bag. I use a canvas insert to help organize items. Fits my 2025 Mac nicely. The only thing I really wish it had like the totes is a key ring. Pictured with a tassel in the sun.
So I was finally bothered by the top designer bags that are never leather, don't age well and end up looking cheap and costing so much more then actual leather. I love this bag, the only complaint is something that was my fault...I wish I had paid more attention to getting a bigger size bag. I am someone who travels with art supplies everywhere & I could easily use more room. The bag is lovely, the leather high quality. I grew up with horses and had a Stueben Saddle, it is beautiful and highest quality leather. This bag is the same. In a world of artificial, high priced items, this is a piece I will grow old with. It's beautiful....& I will be back to grab a larger one!
I am more than pleased with the Lola Tote (East-West). I prefer a bag going east to west so that my small items do not get lost in the dark depths of a tall bag. The color is saturated and more beautiful than pictured. Great accessory to my upcoming spring wardrobe. (purchased in Moonflower).
