It took me sometime to get around to finally ordering one of these amazing backpacks since I wasn't too sure if it would be too big for me. I was wrong, it is not and I find it to be perfect for my size. I am 5"3 and 111 lbs and it sits nicely on my back and is not too heavy. I love this backpack so much that in less than 1 month, I have ordered 4 = Mulberry, Dream, Lagoon and Cognac. I would love one in black and I heard that Plum was going to be a new color so I will be definitely ordering both of those in the near future. The only ask I would have for this bag is to make a Small version of it that would be similar in size to the Small Bucket Bag. That would be sweeeeeeeeeetttt. I'd take one in every color :)

I can't even describe how much I love the bucket backpack! I waited a while to make my first purchase and my only regret is that I didn't do it sooner! They are absolutely comfortable to wear and they hold a ton! To me, these bags really cross the style line in a great way... You can dress them up, dress them down.... The Bucket Backpack is my go to bag when I want to be hands free! It holds my small PLG organizer and my bifold wallet with room leftover! Orchid is a fabulous leather!
No zippers! Yet everything stays secure in the bag. Sometimes I don’t like a pull closure but it’s not finicky on this backpack. Scored this backpack in Bacalar!

I've wanted a bucket backpack for so long and was super excited when PLG started making them again, then sad because it was out of my price range. Found this Sienna at the Atlanta store on opening weekend for $99 and didn't even give a second thought to bringing her home.
Sienna was MADE for this style. Super soft and puddly when empty, especially after a flip n roll. Has that signature leather smell that made me fall in love with PLG. The hide feels substantial like my 2022-23 bags and doesn't seem to be stamped; I was avoiding the stamped, thin, plasticky feeling/smelling bags while in store. Holds a lot and sits nicely on my back. This will definitely be part of my regular rotation.
Pics of empty and ...not empty (not full either!) along with what all I typically carry. Still plenty of room for activities 😅 aka random stuff I find in my travels.
What a treat to walk into the store and see that these were 50% off. And it was my lucky day because I had been looking for a bag in boreal. Such a lovely color.
